Perth is experiencing high demand from cashed-up buyers looking to upgrade during the COVID pandemic and others show interest in investing in luxury homes to compensate for missed overseas holiday opportunities.
Mont Property Managing Director Matthew Podesta said there had been high demand for exclusive and executive homes this year, with the top end of the Perth property market thriving with several significant sales prices achieved.
“Buyer interest in the top end of the Perth property market has been incredibly robust in 2021 and remains strong,” Mr Podesta said.
“Since the start of the year, we have experienced considerable demand for quality homes in our area, with some attracting impressive sales prices and selling off-market or within days of being listed.
“In fact, there has been significant activity in the $5 million price bracket and we are engaging with prospective buyers every day who are on the lookout for quality properties, keen to buy into this area.”
Mr Podesta said sales in Attadale had been particularly strong this year, with Real Estate Institute of WA data showing 19.7% growth for the suburb in the 12 months until the end of September.
